Things are slowly getting back to « Normal »

We have started going out, seeing old friends, making new ones…all with a little bit of trepidation.

I am slowly getting my inspiration in painting back! It’s one thing to paint and another to be inspired!

Sometimes the inspiration comes while doggedly working, but usually it comes quite unexpectedly. 

Right now I am working on N’s portrait! I am happy that I took some great photos of him with nice light in the Studio! It’s always good to work from both life and photos that you take yourself. I always like to add the finishing touches on the painting from life, if possible. But this painting will be a surprise!

Well, back to painting while the light is still good!
